According to Newsweek and Connect magazine, the former White House press shooting suspect, Cole Tomas Allen, was an independent game developer who had launched a game in the early years, which had dramatically increased as the event affected heat.

CNN reported that Alan had allegedly stormed the Secret Service checkpoint outside the scene at around 8.30 p.m. Eastern United States time. At 9.17 p.m., Trump wrote on his social platform Truth that Thomas Allen had been captured. Prior to his arrest, Thomas Allen had been a part-time teacher at an examination guidance firm called C2, which had awarded him the title “Most Monthly Teacher” in December 2024. Thomas Allen had launched a bomb-scraping game called Bohrdom on Steam in 2018 at a price of $2 for many years. However, according to game media reports by Game File, Kotaku and others, there was a massive influx of players into the Steam comment area of Bohrdom after the shooting. SteamDB data show that Bohrdom, which had only four user assessments prior to that date, has now increased to 134, with a positive rate of 56 per cent, an overall “unsatisfactory” picture and more than 10 pages of discussion, most of which were insinuations to the event.

Bohrdom is more an educational tool than a game. Players play the electron or atomic core in the game and experience the taste of atomic chemistry. The game interface describes this as a “non-violent asymmetrical fighting game to test skills”, or a “combination of the scrambling and racing game”.

Thomas Allen, for his part, stated that he was developing the second game, tentatively known as First Law, which would be a “Top Shooting/Performing Game based on a real 2D physical engine”. It was named Artifact and then Endgame, and Alan said, “The name of the game has not yet been finalized”.

To date, Bohrdom has not been able to purchase it, but has not fallen off the shelf. In accordance with established practice, when the game goes down, the Steam store issues a notice, such as “down” or removes the shop page. In Bohrdom, however, the purchase buttons simply disappeared. Given the influence of opinion, Steam may have banned the game.
